All About Memory Lane Magazine Memory Lane Magazine began publishing in 1979 and ceased in 1983. The magazine began as a tabloid size publication printed on newsprint and evolved next into enamel covers and newsprint pages on the inside and then finally into a full fledge magazine with enamel stock cover and inside pages. From the beginning Memory Lane Magazine had a broad field of interest covering classic film, radio, TV, vintage advertising, comics & music. If you like old movies, remember TV and radio shows of another day and you can still hear the echoes of your favorite 'golden oldie', when Rock N' Roll was young, then Memory Lane is a must. The magazine showcased everything from Buddy Holly to Humphrey Bogart...Roy Rogers to Little Orphan Annie...Tom Mix to Marilyn Monroe...Charlie Chaplin to Amos N' Andy...Shirley Temple to The Lone Ranger...John Wayne to Howdy Doody...Gene Autry to Betty Boop...Hopalong Cassidy to Abbott & Costello...Elvis to Nat King Cole...Clark Gable to Jean Harlow...Garbo to Laurel & Hardy and Walt Disney to Frankenstein and everything in between. It was and is A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE. Memory Lane Magazine The Web Site is revisiting the magazine and its published content. All this along with several other publications that it has been my pleasure to produce through the years and articles that I have written. From silents to talkies...articles...interviews...pictures...trivia and information, all packaged behind great original cover artwork showing the legendary stars. The various back issues are available in The General Store Online at Memory Lane Magazine The Web Site. Keep in mind that these are not reproductions or reprints but are issues from storage of the original press runs of the magazine. And as such their value as a collector's item is already assured. They are available in limited numbers from an original press run of less than 25,000 per issue. All are in strict near mint condition. They will never be reprinted in their current format. Within the General Store you'll find other memories, so stop by and look around. Parts of the web site are free for you to enjoy and we hope that you will come back often for the memories. Parts of the web site that contain Memory Lane Magazine's archives, where each past issue is available for you to read along with new issues to be published quarterly as well as other projects that I have produced through the years are being made available. These along with three extensive museums that are online and galleries that are overflowing with pictures and information will I'm sure bring back memories by the truckload. This part of the site requires a paid subscription to gain immediate admittance and the subscription lasts for a full year. The cost is $24.95 and will begin to be made available once the entire site behind password entry is online. So check back or drop me an email at robtucker@memorylanemagazine.com and I'll add your name to the list and notify you by email when that part of the site is complete and accepting subscriptions.
